Photo Printing Fun

You really have to click on this picture to see it in a larger size becasue the block is beautiful.

This is a quilt block that my friend Marion did for our guild's tinners program. Didn't she do an amazing job?! The bodies are various famous bodies with my head and two of our other local quilters placed on top. I LOVE that Marion made me Audrey Hepburn. Marion used an ink jet printer and photo printing techniques to print the bodies and faces. The dog in the bottom right corner is the owner's dog. There are jeweles and beads and netting on top, and so much more, to embellish the block. The curtains are 3D. The theme of this tin was elegant Halloween splendor and I really think that Marion out-did herself. Thank you so much Marion for letting me post this on my blog for you all to see.

You can post your comments here and I will forward them to Marion.

Katrina-I am from the cyberquilters and couldn't pass this up when you mentioned your blog. It is just wonderful. I like quilts that tell me a story. The ladies look like they are having a wonderful time together and even the jack-o-lantern has a smile. Good work and good luck.
